Who we are
SL Kids Design is part of Sound Leisure Limited, Sandleas Way, Leeds, LS15 8AR, United Kingdom. Sound Leisure Limited is the controller of the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this statement or your information, email slkids@soundleisure.com or call +44 (0) 113 232 1700.
What we collect
We only collect the details you choose to give us:
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, plus any optional details you add such as your phone number, organisation, sector, country and the topic of your enquiry.
- Brochure requests: your name, email address, phone number, company, country and which brochure you downloaded.
- Newsletter: your name and email address, if you sign up.
- Emails and calls: anything you tell us when you contact us directly.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send you the brochure you asked for.
- To follow up about the products you showed an interest in, and to prepare designs and quotes.
- To deliver, install and support any products you order.
- To send our newsletter, only if you have signed up for it.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and promoting our products to organisations, and on your consent for the newsletter. You can ask us to stop contacting you, or unsubscribe from the newsletter, at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It is only shared with trusted service providers who help us run the website and our email, such as our web hosting company, our email provider and Cloudflare (see below), and only so they can provide that service. Where a project involves IKC Play products, we may share the details needed to design or supply your order with IKC.
Protecting our forms from spam
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that they are being filled in by a person rather than an automated program. When you use a form, Cloudflare receives technical information about your browser and device, such as your IP address, to run this check. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
To stop our forms being misused, our website also keeps a record of when each form was sent from each connection. Your IP address is stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the address, and these records are deleted after 24 hours.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and brochure request details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, and we review them regularly. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising, and has no tracking. Our fonts and images are served from our own website. When you use one of our forms, Cloudflare Turnstile may store information in your browser that is strictly necessary for its security check. If you choose to open the Google Maps directions link on our contact page, Google’s own privacy policy applies on its site.
If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
